Something about these STUFFED SOYA CHAAPS that I’m obsessing over this Winter Season😋
Really love the process and the final product that comes out with these Soya Chaaps… something we Vegetarians can replace for the meat😛
So here goes the recipe…hope you like it🤗
Ingredients for the Soya Chaaps
•1 kg Soya chaap
•1/2 cup hung curd
•2 tbsp oil
•1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
•1 tbsp chat masala
•1 tbsp Chaap masala
•1 tbsp cream
•1 tbsp Coriander powder
•1 tbsp lemon juice
•1/2 tbsp black pepper powder
•1 tbsp red chilli powder
•1/4 Turmeric powder/haldi powder
•1/2 tbsp Garam masala
•Salt as per your taste
•1 tbsp Dry Kasoori methi/dried fenugreek leaves
Instructions for the Chaap
•Wash and dry the soya chaaps.
•Remove the sticks from the chaaps.
•Marinate the soya chaaps with all the spices (curd, cream, dry kasoori methi/dried fenugreek leaves, garam masala, salt, turmeric powder/haldi powder, red chili powder, black pepper, lemon juice, coriander powder, chaap masala, chat masala).
•Keep the chaapa in the refrigerator for 4-6 hours.
•Now heat a heavy pan.
•Add 1 spoon oil to the pan.
•Place the chaaps on the pan and cook each side while keeping the flame low.
•You can also cook them in AirFryer for 5-10 minutes.
Ingredients For the Stuffing
•1 cup Paneer/cottage cheese
•1 cup corn
•1 cup Green peas
•1 inch Chopped ginger
•2-3 chopped green chillies
•Hand full of coriander leaves
•Chopped cashews and almonds
Instructions for the stuffing
•Mix all the ingredients for the stuffing very well.
•Heat a pan.
•Add 1/2 spoon oil.
•Add ginger, green chilli, paneer/cottage cheese, corn, green peas.
•Cook for few minutes.
•Add all the spices and cook for 1 minute.
•keep aside to let it cool
•Once the stuffing cools, put them in the middle of the chaaps and cook as written in the instructions for Chaaps.
